Gomarara: Zvinoda mushandirapamwe

VARAPI vechivanhu nevemachechi vari kukurudzirwa kushanda pamwe chete nebazi rezveutano nekurerwa kwevana mukuparadzira chenjedzo kune veruzhinji pamusoro pechirwere chegomarara.

Izvi zvakabuda pagungano rakaitwa nesangano reTalk Cancer Zimbabwe (TSZ) – iro rinoshanda riri pasi pebazi iri – rakaitwa muHarare munguva pfupi yadarika.

Vachitaura pamusangano uyu, Dr Tinashe Sauramba, avo vanoshanda saRadiographer kana kuti murapi anoona nezvekupiswa kwemasero egomarara (cancer cells) pachipatara cheParirenyatwa Group of Hospitals – vanoti zvakakosha kuti varapi vechivanhu nevemachechi vashande pamwe neveutano mukuparidzira chenjedzo maringe nechirwere chegomarara.

“Takaona kuti chikamu chingaite 80% chevarwere vanotanga vaenda kudzin’anga nekumaporofita vasati vashanyira zvipatara zvedu. Tinotenda zvikuru nebasa renyu sevarapi vechivanhu nekuti mimwe yemishonga yenyu inogona kudaro ichitokwanisa kurapa chirwere chegomarara. Asi zvinoda kuti patange paitwa ongororo kuti ndeipi mishonga yenyu inenge yabudirira kurapa vanhu kuti igopinda muzvipatara nemumafamasi paine umbowo.

“Tinokurudzira kuti musachengete varwere vegomarara kumatare enyu nekuti kana vakanonoka kuuya kuzvipatara vanogumisira vasvika padanho rakakomba rechina (stage 4) rechirwere ichi kureva kuti chinenge chisingacharapiki uye zvinenge zvava kudhurira murwere,” vanodaro.

Dr Sauramba vanoti chirwere chegomarara chinoda kukasika kuvhenekwa pamwe nekurapwa apo chinenge chichangotanga nekuti chikakomba, varwere vane mikana mizhinji yekuzorasikirwa neupenyu apo chinotekeshera kune dzimwe nhengo dzemuviri.

“Dzimwe mhando dzegomarara dzinosanganisira remuromo wechibereko, remuura, repahuro, reganda, rezamu, reduriro, remubhonzo, remumhasuro, remuropa, remuuropi nemamwe akawanda,” vanodaro Dr Sauramba.

Vanoenderera mberi vachiti, “Chirwere chegomarara chinokonzerwa nezvinhu zvakasiyana senharaunda dzatinogara dzinenge dziine mweya inosvibiswa nekuda kwemaindasitiri kana vanhu vanopisa matayi nemimwe mishonga yakaipa inoshandiswa mumaindasitiri.

“Chinogona kukonzerwa zvakare nekuputa fodya, mishonga yekudzora nhengo inopfekwa navanaamai kana yekukudza nhengo inozorwa kana kudyiwa nanababa, kusaita mitambo inosimbisa muviri, mhando yechikafu chinodyiwa nekuwandisa kwacho izvo zvinoita kuti vanhu vafute zvakanyanya pakati pezvimwe.”

Dr Sauramba vanoti kuchipatara cheParirenyatwa kwava nemichina yemhando yepamusoro yekupisa masero egomarara pasina kukonzera marwadzo.

“Tava nemichina yemhando yepamusoro zvekuti murwere wegomarara anotorapwa akatobuda muchiptara achifunga kuti varapi havasati vapedza naye. Hakuchisina zviya zvekuti ganda remunhu rinosara rakasviba, murwere unotodzokera ganda rako rakanaka uye usina marwadzo nepamusaka peruzivo rwechizvino-zvino.

“Michina iyi inoronda yoga panenge paine masero egomarara (cancer cells) yobva yaauraya munhu achitopora zvakanaka. Kune vazhinji vanotogona kupupura izvi,” vanodaro.

Vachitaura pagungano rimwe chete iri, mutungamiriri wesangano revarapi vechivanhu nevemakereke, reZimbabwe National Practitioner’s Association (ZINPA), Sekuru Friday Chisanyu, vanoti vane shungu yekuti kudai paitwa ongororo yemishonga yechivanhu ionekwe kuti inorapa gomarara here uye zviine umbowo hwesainzi zvichizoiswa mumabhuku enhoroondo kana zvichinge zvabudirira.

“Varapi vedu vechivanhu vakawanda vanoti vane varwere vavari kurapa gomarara vachipora. Asi kuti zvive nechokwadi tinoda kuti Hurumende itibatsire muongororo yemishonga yedu yobva yaiswa muzvinyorwa.

“Muridzi wemushonga unenge waonekwa uchirapa agopihwa mbiri kuburikidzwa nekuiswa pazvinyorwa sekuti mushonga wakati wakagadzirwa nanhingi. Varapi vedu vanotya kubirwa mishonga yavo nevakafunda asi vanoda kwazvo kuti ivhenekwe mumarabhoritari,” vanodaro.

Vanoshora katsika kari kuitwa nemamwe madzimai apo vanopfeka mishonga yechivanhu kusikarudzi dzavo senzira yekudzidzora kuti vafadze vanababa panguva yebonde, vachiti ndizvo zvimwe zviri kuwedzera huwandu hwezvirwere zvegomarara rechibereko.

Sekuru Chisanyu vanokurudzirawo varapi vechivanhu nevemakereke kuti vapfuudze varwere vegomarara kuzvipatara nenguva kuitira kuti vasazononoka kurapwa.

“Hakuna gomarara rinokonzerwa nemamhepo, hakuna mudzimu wegomarara saka tumirai varwere kuzvipatara kusvika tawanawo mishonga inovhenekwa nenyanzvi zvoonekwa kuti inorapa gomarara. Ngatirapei zvirwere zvatinogona kwete kukambira zvatisingagoni nekuti tinoparadza upenyu hwevanhu hunokosha,” vanodaro.
